Delete account and data
Request deletion without having the app
To request deletion of your Dietista Personal account and data, write to support@edosoft.app with the subject ‘Delete Dietista Personal account and data’, stating the email address used in the app. You may also request deletion of specific data without closing the entire account. Alternatively, send the request in writing to Luis Eduardo Rodríguez Ayuso, NIF 47201597P, Calle Loma de los Riscos, 81, puerta 2, Torremolinos (Málaga), 29620, Spain.
You do not need to reinstall the app to request this. Do not send passwords, access codes, full banking details or your health history. If you cannot use the account email or have already lost access, say so; identity must be checked proportionately, without requesting unnecessary documents.
In-app option
Open Profile → Account → Delete account and confirm the dialogue. The code includes this option, but defects have been identified: it may delete Firebase access before the backend completes the request. If an error occurs or you lose access, use the external channel above; do not interpret losing your login as confirmation of complete deletion.
Affected data and current limitations
| Data | Status |
|---|---|
| Firebase Authentication account | The process attempts to delete it first. Access may be lost before the rest is completed. |
| Backend user document: profile and preferences | The endpoint deletes the document if the authenticated request arrives correctly. |
| Weight history, progress and plan history | No associated deletion has been verified in this process; the data may remain stored. |
| Profile image, thumbnails and other associated files | Account deletion does not remove these objects according to the reviewed code. |
| Recipes, plans, collections, lists, local caches, tokens, SDKs, logs and backups | The scope of each category must be inventoried and verified; automatic deletion is not promised. |
This page allows you to submit the request and explains the limitation. It does not confirm that a manual procedure capable of completing all deletions already exists. Data left behind due to a technical fault do not constitute legally justified retention.
Retention and timeframes
No operational timeframe has been confirmed for completing deletion, purging backups or reviewing all providers. Nor has a specific mandatory retention requirement been established. Only information necessary for an identified obligation or claim may be retained, with its basis and period specified; where applicable, it must be blocked and excluded from ordinary use. The controller must communicate the actual scope and any exception applicable to the request.
The statutory response period for exercising rights is one month from receipt; an extension of up to two further months requires notification within the first month due to complexity or the number of requests. This is not a guarantee of complete deletion within that period. If the response is missing or insufficient, you may complain to the AEPD.
Cancel a subscription
To cancel on Android: Google Play → profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Dietista Personal → Cancel. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Dietista Personal → Cancel. Check the store account shown on the receipt and the date access ends. See the current instructions from Google Play and Apple.
Cancellation stops future renewals according to the purchase terms; it does not delete the account or automatically imply a refund. Uninstalling the app or deleting the account does not cancel the store subscription either.
